It's always sunny in Philadelphia Zoo!

Today we had a very hot sunny day at Philadelphia Zoo!! It's a really awesome zoo that taught people a lot about conservation and the environment at the same time as giving you loads of awesome animals to look at!

My favourite animals are big cats, so I was delighted to find they had an area dedicated to big cats, including tigers, lions, snow leopards, cheetahs and jaguars! One of the tigers looked particularly beautiful as it cooled down in the water. Seeing the big cats made me miss my smaller (but still rather chubby) cats at home!

Toms favourite animals were Galapagos tortoises! There were loads and they were all out in the sunshine. However the biggest one, called Bubba, was being a bit too cheeky, everyone had to avert their eyes!!

An amazing animal that I didn't expect to see at the zoo was a polar bear!! We got to his enclosure just at the perfect moment as he dived in to the water! There was an underwater viewing area and you could see just how powerful his front crawl was!!

After the zoo we headed back to Reading Terminal market again for some dinner. Tom got Chinese sesame chicken with fried rice and I got a Nutella crepe because I've been missing Nutella. We also got a big tub of watermelon and some fresh OJ!

When we got back to the hotel we were welcomed back by a flooded bathroom and hallway in our room. Not happy bunnies as we had to move all our stuff  four floors down!! However we are now all packed and ready to leave for Washington DC tomorrow!!!
