Bye bye Salt Lake City, hello Yellowstone!

Another horribly early wake up to catch the bus to Yellowstone! However an hour into our journey and the bus broke down, so we were piled on to another bus!! In Idaho Falls we transferred on to the shuttle bus to Yellowstone! 

We reached Yellowstone at 3 pm and checked in to the most beautiful log cabin I've ever seen! We went out into Yellowstone which is so cute and very quiet! We picked up some bits and pieces from a supermarket and went back for some dinner. Today we had microwave meals!!! Then we chilled out and watched Zoolander on netflix, complete with microwave popcorn and toblerone! 




We are so so tired, so it is an early night for us, and another early start in the morning for our tour, where we hope to see some amazing wildlife!

DC duck tour!!

Today we got up fairly early and went for the hotel breakfast. I had fruit loops, which were super weird and Tom had dodgy doughnuts!!  We went into the city and our first stop was Obama's place! Obviously Barack didn't get the memo that we were in town so sadly missed out on meeting us.  After seeing the White House we walked to Union station, with a bit of retail therapy and lunch on the way! I got a pretty top from Forever 21! We had lunch in Pret, I had a California club sandwich and Tom had a New York Meatball wrap!!  We got to the station and boarded our vessel for the DC duck tour! The captain was called Captain Bucky and he was hilarious, he told us a funny joke to do with porridge when we told him we were from Norwich!! The tour was awesome, a really great way to see all of DC's monuments and memorials and learn things about them in the process! There is definitely an added excitement when you get on to the water, although it was a bit scary when Captain Bucky let

Green Screen Laughs, Mum & Dad's Silver Anniversary & Jim Bacon's Retirement!

Hey everyone! Goodness me it's been a while! It's that time of year where revision really starts to spoil things!! Sadly, it leaves me very little time to make my weather forecast videos, so I'm gonna have to put them on hold until my exams are over in June. Aside from revision, I've managed to fit in some pretty awesome things over the last few weeks! Firstly, I have to show you this awesome sunset from the other week! Such vibrant colours! It's things like this that I love most about the weather. Last Friday I got to have a play around with the green screen at work, as we're developing an exciting new product for our customers! We had such a laugh! It was great to have a proper go and I think I'm definitely getting better. At least it's not painful to watch anymore!! I love working with such an awesome group of people!!
