Bye bye Yellowstone, hello Salt Lake City!

Today we woke early to a cold and rainy Yellowstone that reminded us a lot of Scotland! We got on a seven hour bus journey to Salt Lake City, where we are now waiting to get the train to San Fransisco! 

Seeing as we got into Salt Lake at 5 pm and our train is at midnight, we had a bit of time to kill! So we headed over to the cinema to see a new Disney film; Inside Out. Weirdly, we were the youngest people in there! It was such a good film, very emotional and I cried a lot!! Gotta love a good ol' Disney film! 

Now we are waiting for our train, which won't get into San Fran until 5 pm tomorrow!! Hooray! We love trains!!

DC duck tour!!

Today we got up fairly early and went for the hotel breakfast. I had fruit loops, which were super weird and Tom had dodgy doughnuts!!  We went into the city and our first stop was Obama's place! Obviously Barack didn't get the memo that we were in town so sadly missed out on meeting us.  After seeing the White House we walked to Union station, with a bit of retail therapy and lunch on the way! I got a pretty top from Forever 21! We had lunch in Pret, I had a California club sandwich and Tom had a New York Meatball wrap!!  We got to the station and boarded our vessel for the DC duck tour! The captain was called Captain Bucky and he was hilarious, he told us a funny joke to do with porridge when we told him we were from Norwich!! The tour was awesome, a really great way to see all of DC's monuments and memorials and learn things about them in the process! Green Screen Laughs, Mum & Dad's Silver Anniversary & Jim Bacon's Retirement!

Hey everyone! Goodness me it's been a while! It's that time of year where revision really starts to spoil things!! Sadly, it leaves me very little time to make my weather forecast videos, so I'm gonna have to put them on hold until my exams are over in June. Aside from revision, I've managed to fit in some pretty awesome things over the last few weeks! Firstly, I have to show you this awesome sunset from the other week! Such vibrant colours! It's things like this that I love most about the weather. Last Friday I got to have a play around with the green screen at work, as we're developing an exciting new product for our customers! We had such a laugh! It was great to have a proper go and I think I'm definitely getting better. At least it's not painful to watch anymore!! I love working with such an awesome group of people!!
