Bye bye Los Angeles, hello Las Vegas!! Feat. A level results!!!

Yesterday was such a good day but after waiting up feeling nervous until midnight for our A level results I had no time to post this!!

We woke up early and got the bus to Vegas!!! As we drive into the city we saw some pretty crazy buildings!!

We then went out to explore The Strip and do some shopping! I got some new shoes for dinner!!

After shopping and sightseeing we headed back to our hotel to get ready for our meal out at the Stratosphere Top of the World restaurant, which was a birthday present from my parents!! It is the most amazing revolving restaurant which gives you spectacular views of Vegas as the sun sets!!

Although we were feeling pretty nervous we still had an amazing meal and didn't let the nerves spoil it!! I had Prawn and Lobster Cocktail for my starter and Tom had Pork Belly with Chimichurri! They were so amazing!

Next I had the Center Cut Filet Steak with Gratin potatoes and Tom had Seafood Linguine! Both amazing!! It was during this course that people began bungee jumping from the top of the Stratosphere, and it was so surreal just to see people falling past the window as we ate!!

Then the staff brought out a special birthday dessert for me, complete with a candle which was so cute! We also ordered two other desserts as we didn't know about the birthday one!!! We had Rasberry Sorbet and a White Chocolate  Cup!

The whole meal was amazing and it was such a special experience and so beautiful to watch the sun set over Las Vegas! Thank you so much Mum and Dad!! After our meal we went up to the top observation deck, where we got amazing view and watched crazy people ride the roller coasters that sat on top of the hotel!

After dinner we then headed back to our hotel to sit and wait until midnight, when our A level results would come out and we would find out whether we had got into Uni! I was so so nervous!!! At 11:30 pm our time we logged on to UCAS and saw we'd both been accepted into our first choice Universities!! Mine being the University of East Anglia for Meteorology and Oceanography and Toms being De Montfort University studying Architecture!! We were over the moon!!! At half past midnight our parents then called us to tell us our results, which were just what we'd hoped for! All the hard work had finally paid off!! Feeling elated we then went off to bed!!

Tomorrow we have our Red Rock Canyon Tour, which was kindly given to us by my amazing family friends Fee + Ed Bowie and their wonderful children Annie, Matilda, Flynn and Isla!!! We are so excited!
