Bye bye Las Vegas, hello Los Angeles!!

Today we begin our series of bus journeys back to San Francisco, where we will then fly home!!! 

We slept in til 9 am and then got breakfast at the hotel!! Made our own waffles in a scary machine that didn't like Tom very much!! 


We then went out to The Strip to do some last minute shopping before catching our bus! We got some great gifts and Tom got some very cheap Levi's jeans in Urban Outfitters which he was very chuffed about!! We also got lunch in Starbucks, yay!! 


Then we got on our bus to LA. It was another awful journey... The woman in front of us thought she would grave everyone with her beautiful taste in music by playing it out loud, full volume. We weren't such happy bunnies!! We got dinner at a Burger King at a truck stop, I wish they did chicken fries back home!!! 


We got in to LA at 10pm and went straight to our hostel!! Tomorrow we go to San Fran!!

DC duck tour!!

Today we got up fairly early and went for the hotel breakfast. I had fruit loops, which were super weird and Tom had dodgy doughnuts!!  We went into the city and our first stop was Obama's place! Obviously Barack didn't get the memo that we were in town so sadly missed out on meeting us.  After seeing the White House we walked to Union station, with a bit of retail therapy and lunch on the way! I got a pretty top from Forever 21! We had lunch in Pret, I had a California club sandwich and Tom had a New York Meatball wrap!!  We got to the station and boarded our vessel for the DC duck tour! The captain was called Captain Bucky and he was hilarious, he told us a funny joke to do with porridge when we told him we were from Norwich!! The tour was awesome, a really great way to see all of DC's monuments and memorials and learn things about them in the process! There is definitely an added excitement when you get on to the water, although it was a bit scary when Captain Bucky let

Green Screen Laughs, Mum & Dad's Silver Anniversary & Jim Bacon's Retirement!

Hey everyone! Goodness me it's been a while! It's that time of year where revision really starts to spoil things!! Sadly, it leaves me very little time to make my weather forecast videos, so I'm gonna have to put them on hold until my exams are over in June. Aside from revision, I've managed to fit in some pretty awesome things over the last few weeks! Firstly, I have to show you this awesome sunset from the other week! Such vibrant colours! It's things like this that I love most about the weather. Last Friday I got to have a play around with the green screen at work, as we're developing an exciting new product for our customers! We had such a laugh! It was great to have a proper go and I think I'm definitely getting better. At least it's not painful to watch anymore!! I love working with such an awesome group of people!!
