It feels like ages since I've done a proper nail art tutorial! I got so caught up with coursework at uni and then burst my eardrum, so didn't have time/feel well enough to film one! It's good to be back though and I've got plenty more videos planned for the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled! Zoë x

As it's nearly Valentines Day I thought I'd share my five favourite nail polishes for Valentines! Out of my ridiculously extensive collection of nail polishes I've chosen five shades that I think are perfect for celebrating this adorable holiday, ranging from my favourite red to a selection of beautiful purples! Left to Right: OPI - Do You Lilac It?, Essie - Fishnet Stockings, OPI - I'm Indi-A Mood For Love, Avon - Decadence, Essie - Flowerista. OPI - Do You Lilac It? - This has been a firm favourite of mine for years now! It is a beautiful cool lilac and which looks great on its on and also faded into other colours to create a gradient. I've used this shade in a recent Valentines nail art tutorial for Paisley nails if you want to see this colour in action! Essie - Fishnet Stockings - Red is the ultimate colour for Valentines Day and this Essie shade is a beautiful deep red that is a foolproof choice for this romantic holiday. Here I am, at the end of another month, and relatively on time for once! That's right, here are my beauty favourites of January... Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla Body Wash - This is the most luxurious shower gel I've ever used, it's just beautiful! The scent is heavenly, and it really does make your skin feel softer when you get out of the shower. It's super affordable and I just love it so much, I will definitely be repurchasing! Garnier/Caudalíe Micellar Cleansing Water - I love these two micellar waters so much. It's the first time I've tried micellar water to remove my makeup, and I'll never go back! To be honest, they are both very similar, and Garnier's is cheaper, so I'll probably buy this one, however, Caudalíe's has a lovely scent (similar to the rest of the Caudalíe Vinosource range) so I love it too. They have made an incredible difference to my skin! It has been so much clearer, and actually felt cleaner...

I've been into nail art and nail polish for almost 5 years now and I have never tried a China Glaze nail polish, although I have always wanted to! They are pretty difficult for me to get hold of in the UK and when I have seen them they were too expensive. However, my lovely flatmate Tasha, who is from Vancouver, brought these beauties back from Canada for me, and I was so excited to try them out!! On the left is their First & Last Combination Base Coat/Top Coat and on the right is a metallic silvery brown nail polish in the shade Wood You Wanna? (Bonus points for a great name!). When painting my nails, I used the First & Last as my basecoat, followed by two coats of Wood You Wanna? and topped them off with another coat of First & Last. The First & Last went on beautifully as a basecoat, it has a nice consistency and dried pretty quickly, so I really love it. The nail polish itself is beautiful and easy to apply too!
