American Dinner Party!

Hello everyone! Tom and I are officially settled back into UK life! To celebrate our return we held a dinner party for both of our families. We decided on a menu that would give everyone a taste of the USA! We chose typically American dishes and made everything in miniature! Here is the menu! Appetizers: Chips n dips Entrées: Deep dish pizzas Hot Dogs Soft Tacos Burgers Philly Cheesesteaks Served with salad and fries! Desserts: Strawberry cheesecake Blueberry pancakes Brownies It was a super fun night, we all ate far too much, which is always good!! Falling Asleep in Maths and a Nice Evening Skiing

On Tuesday my lectures didn't start until 12, so I got up early to get things done before I went. Shockingly, I was actually quite productive. At 11.30 I headed into uni for a Meteorology lecture and somehow (as always) ended up late and out of breath after 3 flights of stairs. In the lecture we continued learning about the first law of thermodynamics which I find quite interesting even if it's a lot to take in. We had a short break at 1, before starting our Meteorology lab at 2. It wasn't a particularly involved lab session, as we just had a page of questions that we all worked through together. The lab finished early as we had tried to complete the problems as quickly as possible! At 4 we headed to the library just to chill for an hour before Maths at 5. High pressure attempting to take charge

Hello everyone! I hope you've had a great week. We've had pretty cool weather this week! A lot of sunshine and showers, giving us some v interesting clouds. Last Sunday, we had a brief shower of hail. Needless to say, I got far too excited. All of these showers do produce some lovely cloud pics. Monday was a lovely day, with a brief ridge of high pressure giving us a lovely sunny day - most of which I spent inside! I took this photo as I left the IT lab on Monday afternoon. Tuesday was not so nice, it rained for the majority of the day, making my concrete uni look very sad! However, by the time I got home, things were looking up and we had a lovely sunset. On Thursday, I had a day at home, and enjoyed the sunshine and showers once again, taking my doggos out for a walk during a sunny spell.
