Hello everyone! Tom and I are officially settled back into UK life! To celebrate our return we held a dinner party for both of our families. We decided on a menu that would give everyone a taste of the USA! We chose typically American dishes and made everything in miniature! Here is the menu! Appetizers: Chips n dips Entrées: Deep dish pizzas Hot Dogs Soft Tacos Burgers Philly Cheesesteaks Served with salad and fries! Desserts: Strawberry cheesecake Blueberry pancakes Brownies It was a super fun night, we all ate far too much, which is always good!! We also gave our families the gifts we had brought back with us which was lovely. :) Here are a few photos of what we made (though not everything, as my camera died halfway through the evening!) On Tuesday my lectures didn't start until 12, so I got up early to get things done before I went. Shockingly, I was actually quite productive. At 11.30 I headed into uni for a Meteorology lecture and somehow (as always) ended up late and out of breath after 3 flights of stairs. In the lecture we continued learning about the first law of thermodynamics which I find quite interesting even if it's a lot to take in. We had a short break at 1, before starting our Meteorology lab at 2. It wasn't a particularly involved lab session, as we just had a page of questions that we all worked through together. The lab finished early as we had tried to complete the problems as quickly as possible! At 4 we headed to the library just to chill for an hour before Maths at 5. I was dreading Maths, as it was with the lecturer I didn't like from Fluid Dynamics the other day (See 'The Worst Lecture Ever'). However it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. He has since redee...
We slept in again today and then went out for a late breakfast at the Running Bear Pancake House! We both had amazing drinks, I had a caramello latte and Tom had a banana hot chocolate! I also had French toast with strawberries, which I'd never tried and was amazing, and Tom had sausages, scrambled eggs, hash brown and toast... Tom thinks they need a lesson on what a hash brown actually is! We then walked into the main part of town to do some gift shopping, and we also went to the Yellowstone Museum, which, to say the least, wasn't really our cup of tea!!! We went into the most amazing shop called 'Christmas in Montana' which was so cute, and also joined to a candy shop that was busy making saltwater taffy! After shopping we went back to our cabin to pack up our bags and get ready for dinner, which we had booked at Madison Crossing Lounge! It was a super cute restaurant, with really interesting things on the menu such as bison and elk!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta a...
